Major developments for the British Red Cross site

Baigent has developed the British Red Cross website to make it as "simple as possible" for users to engage with the charity. The site enhancement follows research by the charity that found 50% of the site's usage was centered around donations, job applications, booking courses and shopping rather than just seeking information as was previously thought.
The main aim of these changes was to engage supporters with the charity in a practical way. The new features include Near Me, which enables users to search for local events, shops and services by postcode. The site also incorporates Google search, new information sections, a shop and more intuitive navigation.
This enhancement followed an extended period of user testing to see how activists used the site.
