New Website launch for FWA

May 2008


Baigent has recently launched a new website for the Family Welfare Association (FWA). FWA is the UK’s leading family charity; offering support to families experiencing difficulties including mental illness, financial hardship and domestic abuse. As part of their new marketing strategy, FWA required a radical rethink of their online communications as well as a site which could reflect the diverse and innovative nature of their work.

Working closely with the FWA, we transformed the site content, giving it a new structure and navigation and a fundraising tool.  Importantly, the site is highly colourful and visual, to appeal to families seeking support, with a quirky interactive regional map showing the locations of FWA centres. Navigation is made easier by employing colour coded sections, so that any visitors, who may have difficulty reading, always knows where they are.

 
 

We have grown to become the largest family focused charity in the UK and we needed a site that could showcase the breadth and range of our innovative work across the country. The site has a wide range of audiences with differing expectations; including supporters, commissioners and service users. All visitors to the site need to be offered the right information about FWA and our work in an appropriate and appealing way. Baigent has come up with a great solution that works for all our audiences
