Baigent wins four new clients
July 2008
In the last two months, Baigent has won work from a range of new clients; The Commonwealth Foundation, The Global Network, CARE International and The Hospice of St Francis based in Berkhamsted.
The Commonwealth Foundation is an organisation that was created to support Commonwealth countries achieve the following shared goals: democracy and good governance, respect for human rights and gender equality, poverty eradication and sustainable, people-centred development, and to promote arts and culture. We are working with the Commonwealth to develop their online strategy to help them achieve their online potential.
The Global Network of Civil Society Organisations for Disaster Reduction (The Global Network) was originally established by the United Nations to gather and share best practices between all countries in order to minimise the consequences of large-scale disasters on society. They also provide resources to other organisations worldwide and help to positively influence global policies. Baigent is creating a site to support the essential work that they do.
CARE International is a charity that fights poverty in the world's poorest countries through a range of projects such as; giving farmers the tools they need to grow their own crops, lending money to help individuals start small businesses and programmes to provide support for people living with AIDs. CARE also works with governments to create lasting and sustainable change in the developing world, and their volunteers are often the first on the scene when disaster strikes to support vunerable communities. We are working with CARE to create bespoke online fundraising tools which will in turn increase the income for the many projects that they are carrying out worldwide.
The Hospice of St Francis provide palliative care to people who have terminal illnesses in the Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire areas. The hospice provide a range of services including respite care in the unit, nurses who complete home-visits, family support through a team of trained volunteers and professional courses in end-of-life care. Baigent are working closely with the Hospice of St Francis in order to redevelop their existing site.
We are very excited to have been appointed by these new clients in such a variety of interesting projects, and look forward to the end results!
