Baigent launches Cornerstone arts centre website!

Baigent is pleased to announce the launch of the Cornerstone website. The site allows users to view the programme of events taking place in the Cornerstone centre, a new arts venue in Didcot, near Oxford.

The brief that the South Oxfordshire District Council gave to Baigent was to create a site that reflected the creative, artistic nature of the centre, that could be used by all age groups but would also be easy to update by the Cornerstone team. In order to construct the design for the site, we worked in partnership with the council's design agency to create an innovative and striking site. The end result is a bold and modern design which is user-friendly and easy to navigate. Future developments to the site will include the integration of the site with a ticket booking system.

The arts centre, which opens on the 29th August, houses a variety of different exhibitions, a programme of workshops and includes a 278 seater theatre. The series of events organised by the team at Cornerstone include; photography exhibitions, hip hop classes, sculpture and art workshops. On entering the website, users can view details of the workshops, find out which exhibitions are currently on show and search for information on the live music gigs, theatre performances and comedy evenings in the theatre.
